Global System for M obile communications, is a digital cellular communications system which has rapidly gained acceptance and market share worldwide, although it was initially developed in a European context. In addition to digital transmission, GSM incorporates many advanced services and features, including ISDN compatibility and worldwide roaming in other GSM networks. The advanced services and architecture of GSM have made it a model for future third-generation cellular systems, such as UMTS. This paper will give an overview of the services offered by GSM, the system architecture, the radio transmission structure, and the signalling functional.
The purpose of the latest technology expand is for the development of available system to fit the current time flow, to simplify the procedure and beside that are harmless to consumer. The WebSMS development is not avoidable from that purpose. The purpose of developing this system is to give more convenient to both side that will be using this system; the users and admin of JPN itself. The available counter system and reminder management process of MyKAd nowadays are depending on human resource only, and this reliability are sometimes do not meet the policies and ethics needed.
The efficiency of the available system perhaps doesn't meet the standard required. The new system will be developed using the web base, booking and notifying with SMS. If we look at the available system, JPN will be serving the users and this is the concept that is suitable with the web concepts that have the server and the customer. The document's management nowadays is still not too efficient because of surrounding factor that slow down and threaten the security of the document. SMS is the best medium to give a short note. This technology used to complete the system development.
